Key Responsibilities – Vendor Manager Associate
- Support the vendor qualification and requalification process for clinical vendors under guidance from Vendor Quality leadership
- Assist in assessing vendor capabilities in collaboration with QA, Clinical Sourcing, and functional SMEs
- Coordinate qualification activities and maintain effective tracking to ensure timely completion
- Issue, collect, review, and follow up on vendor qualification documents including CDA, DDF, and RFI
- Partner with the QA team to support vendor qualification audits
- Create and maintain the Qualified Supplier List (QSL) with accurate and up-to-date vendor information
- Ensure vendor files are complete and audit-ready for QA, Clinical Sourcing, compliance, and clinical audits
- Provide CAPA and audit support as required
- Participate in and support additional Clinical Vendor Services (CVS) initiatives
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in the life sciences industry (CRO, pharma, or biotech)
- Prior experience in vendor qualification, vendor management, QA, or related disciplines preferred
- Understanding of clinical research operations and clinical trial services/vendors
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within teams
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Good presentation skills
- Strong project management skills for proactive planning and follow-up
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
