Job Description
As a Safety & PV Specialist I, you will play an essential role in the processing and management of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to global regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

- ICSR Case Processing:
- Handle data entry (booking and triage) for ICSRs received from clinical trials or post-marketing sources.
- Evaluate case data for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory reportability.
- Enter data into the safety database and maintain safety tracking systems.
- Coding and Narrative Development:
- Perform MedDRA coding of events, medical histories, and concomitant medications.
- Compile comprehensive narrative summaries for each case.
- Case Quality Management:
- Identify missing information, generate queries, and follow up with relevant stakeholders until closure.
- Review processed cases for accuracy and technical compliance.
- Manage duplicate ICSRs and ensure case validity.
- Regulatory Reporting and Submissions:
- Support preparation and submission of expedited and periodic safety reports as per regulatory requirements.
- Assist with validation and submission of xEVMPD product records.
- Handle activities related to SPOR/IDMP updates and product dictionary maintenance.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all documentation is filed in the Trial Master File (TMF) and Pharmacovigilance System Master File (PSMF) as per SOPs.
- Maintain full compliance with GVP, ICH, FDA, and EU regulations.
- Collaboration and Quality Assurance:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams for safety operations.
- Participate in internal and external audits when required.
- Uphold Syneos Health’s quality management principles in all PV activities.
- Literature Screening and Safety Data Maintenance:
- Conduct regular literature reviews for safety-related publications.
- Manage MedDRA coding, drug coding, and dictionary maintenance as needed.
Required Qualifications and Experience
