About the Role – Clinical Research Associate
Sun Pharma is hiring a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join its Clinical Research Division. This role is vital in ensuring that all clinical trials are conducted efficiently, ethically, and in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulatory guidelines. The Clinical Research Associate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and closing clinical trials. Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Research Associate, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing clinical trials across multiple sites. Your main duties will include: Sun Pharma Hiring for Clinical Research Associate
- Site Feasibility and Investigator Selection
- Conduct site feasibility assessments to identify potential investigators.
- Negotiate study budgets with investigators and finalize study sites.
- Execute Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDA) and study-related contracts with selected sites.
- Study Preparation and Documentation
- Prepare and submit study-related documents for Ethics Committee (EC) approvals across study centers.
- Ensure all documentation is in compliance with GCP and local regulatory requirements.
- Site Management and Monitoring
- Oversee site initiation, monitoring visits, and close-out activities.
- Conduct training sessions for investigators and site staff on study protocols, procedures, and GCP principles.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all site activities.
- Drug Accountability and Inventory Control
- Supervise investigational product (IP) dispensing, inventory management, and reconciliation at all trial sites.
- Maintain records in accordance with protocol and regulatory standards.
- Data Management and Quality Assurance
- Monitor data collection and ensure accurate source data verification.
- Track and resolve data queries efficiently.
- Coordinate with data management and statistical teams for database lock (DBL) and statistical analysis.
- Safety Reporting and Compliance
- Ensure timely reporting of Serious Adverse Events (SAEs), Suspected Unexpected Serious Adverse Reactions (SUSARs), and safety updates.
- Coordinate SAE reports with all investigators and sites as per regulatory timelines.
- Maintain strict adherence to Sun Pharma’s Pharmacovigilance (PV) policies.
- Risk Management and CAPA Implementation
- Identify risks at the site level, perform root cause analysis, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Maintain oversight of underperforming sites and support improvement plans.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams, including data management, biostatistics, regulatory affairs, and pharmacovigilance departments.
- Work with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) when required for data and project management activities.
Required Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in any of the following disciplines:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Pharmacy
- Nursing
- Public Health
- Candidates with a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Research will be given preference.
Experience Required
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field of Clinical Research.
- Hands-on experience in clinical trial operations, including site management, monitoring, and documentation.
- Exposure to Phase III and Phase IV clinical trials is highly desirable.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements in India.
- Expertise in clinical site management, investigator relations, and trial documentation.
- Ability to handle multiple study sites and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with study teams and investigators.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
