Key Responsibilities

1. Team Management
- Lead and manage a team responsible for ICSR management across one or more projects.
- Ensure appropriate task distribution, monitor progress, and maintain efficient workflows.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and process improvements.
- Provide feedback, mentorship, and performance evaluations for assigned staff members.
2. Project Oversight
- Oversee day-to-day case processing activities, ensuring compliance with SOPs, client requirements, and global PV regulations.
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients regarding ICSR-related matters.
- Ensure that project deliverables are met on time and at the expected quality levels.
- Propose process improvements and standardization opportunities to enhance efficiency.
3. Quality Control and Compliance
- Perform second-level quality checks (QC) of ICSR cases to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Manage deviations and non-conformities in collaboration with the ICSR Operational Lead.
- Maintain project-specific KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and develop plans to continuously improve performance metrics.
4. Process Optimization
- Create, review, and maintain project-specific procedures and guidelines.
- Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and increase operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs for ICSR staff.
- Participate in audits and inspections, ensuring readiness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
5. Reporting and Documentation
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of trackers, timesheets, and project documentation.
- Maintain transparent and effective communication with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Support the preparation of project performance reports and metrics for client meetings.
6. Subject Matter Expertise
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ICSR processes within assigned teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Support the PV Operations team in identifying and resolving complex case-related issues.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
- Alternatively, candidates with equivalent experience in pharmacovigilance are eligible.
Required Experience:
- Extensive experience in pharmacovigilance and ICSR management.
- Proven experience as a Team Lead or Line Manager in PV operations.
- Strong understanding of global safety reporting regulations and GVP (Good Pharmacovigilance Practices).
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong organizational and delegation skills.
- Exceptional time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Good technical proficiency, including knowledge of safety databases and MS Office tools.
- Collaborative and flexible approach to teamwork and leadership.
