Job Description
As a Pharmacovigilance Services Associate, you will be part of Accenture’s Life Sciences R&D vertical, contributing to global drug safety and surveillance activities. The role focuses on end-to-end Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) processing while ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards. Pharmacovigilance Services Associate Job at Accenture
Key Responsibilities
- Manage affiliate safety mailboxes and reconcile reports as per defined processes
- Perform written follow-ups for both serious and non-serious adverse event cases
- Identify, enter, process, and submit ICSRs in safety databases
- Perform MedDRA coding and ensure accurate case documentation
- Handle case processing, submissions, and follow-ups according to client and regulatory guidelines
- Support pharmacovigilance and cosmetovigilance activities as required
Required Skills & Competencies
- Pharmacovigilance & Drug Safety Surveillance
- Case processing and ICSR lifecycle management
- MedDRA coding knowledge
- Understanding of global safety regulations
- Cosmetovigilance exposure (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and compliance orientation
Role & Work Environment
- Individual contributor role within a structured team environment
- Work guided by standard operating procedures and established guidelines
- Interaction primarily within the team and direct supervisor
- Rotational shifts may be required
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance or Drug Safety
- Knowledge of safety databases and regulatory requirements
