Job Overview
As an MDR Vigilance Specialist I, you will play a critical role in post-market surveillance, ensuring product quality and patient safety through complaint evaluation and regulatory reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and process incoming complaint information, ensuring proper documentation in electronic databases.
- Conduct follow-up activities to gather additional details and maintain data integrity.
- Analyze complaint trends and generate regulatory reports as per global standards.
- Determine reportability of complaints to government agencies under applicable regulations.
- Write detailed investigation summaries based on product analysis and technical reports.
- Ensure all records are audit-ready and compliant with internal policies and international regulations.
- Collaborate with departments such as Technical Service, Manufacturing, R&D, and Quality Assurance.
- Provide technical expertise in handling product complaints in accordance with FDA and international vigilance guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement of the complaint handling and risk management process.

Qualifications and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (preferred: Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering).
- 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, or complaint handling within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database analysis tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to understand complex medical device functionality and clinical applications.
- Capable of multitasking and working effectively in a cross-functional team.
