Job Overview
The selected candidate will manage and support a team of Clinical Data Management professionals to produce efficient, accurate, and compliant databases. The role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in CDM processes, and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance and technical oversight for CRF/eCRF development, database design and validation, and Data Management Plan (DMP) creation.
- Offer solutions to improve efficiency and resolve project challenges in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all team members are trained, compliant with SOPs, and aligned with project scope.
- Mentor and coach staff to develop expertise in data management systems and drug development processes.
- Conduct bi-monthly meetings with direct reports to review project timelines, financial performance, risks, and staff engagement.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and maintain consistency across global operations.
- Coordinate with project leads to plan staffing, workloads, and resource allocation based on current and upcoming projects.
- Participate in proposal defenses, bid meetings, and client discussions to represent CDM operations.
- Support and lead internal and external audits and ensure readiness of team members for inspections.
- Communicate effectively between leadership and project teams, ensuring smooth information flow and timely updates.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical, Biological, or Mathematical Sciences (or related field)
- Nursing qualification may also be considered
- Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience, including people management
- Advanced understanding of Data Management processes and systems
- Strong knowledge of clinical drug development and CDM deliverables
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills
- Effective mentoring and coaching abilities
- Proficiency in metrics tracking, budget forecasting, and project finance management (EAC, burn-rate, OOS)
- Sound decision-making and risk evaluation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix-based global environment
