Key Responsibilities

1. Microbiological Testing and Analysis

  • Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and packaging materials.

5. Documentation and Reporting

  • Prepare and review SOPs, test protocols, and microbiology-related documents.
  • Record deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) results, and non-conformances with root cause analysis.
  • Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks, calibration records, and logbooks as per cGMP requirements.

6. Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory guidelines issued by USFDA, EU-GMP, MHRA, and WHO.
  • Assist in audits and inspections by national and international regulatory authorities.
  • Implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to address audit findings.

7. Leadership and Training

  • Train and guide junior microbiologists and laboratory technicians on aseptic techniques and testing protocols.
  • Foster a culture of compliance, teamwork, and continuous learning in the microbiology department.
