Job Overview
ICON plc is seeking a Clinical Data Coordinator I (CDC I) to join its diverse and dynamic data management team. In this role, you will support the collection, organization, and validation of clinical data to ensure the accuracy and quality of clinical trial results.
As part of ICON’s Clinical Data Management team, you will collaborate closely with data scientists, study leads, and project managers, playing an essential role in delivering reliable clinical research outcomes for global healthcare clients. ICON hiring for Clinical Data Coordinator I
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Data Management Study Lead in developing Electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs), Data Validation Specifications (DVS), and Study-Specific Procedures (SSPs).
- Review clinical and third-party data in accordance with edit specifications and data review plans.
- Generate and issue clear, concise data queries to investigational sites for data correction and clarification.
- Collaborate with peers, clinical data scientists, and functional management to resolve data discrepancies.
- Support ongoing project activities, such as filing and archiving of study documentation and query dispatching, to ensure timelines are met.
- Maintain compliance with data management processes and clinical research regulations (e.g., ICH-GCP standards).

Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
- Experience: Basic knowledge of clinical data management in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Familiarity with data management tools such as Medidata Rave, Oracle RDC, or equivalent systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA) will be an added advantage.
