This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in upstream vaccine production, cell culture operations, and GMP-regulated environments. The role supports critical vaccine programs including Influenza and Rabies, offering exposure to large-scale biologics manufacturing and regulatory-compliant production systems.
Key Responsibilities – Executive Upstream Manufacturing
- Ensure facility readiness for internal, customer, and regulatory inspections
- Prepare, issue, and submit documentation to the Quality Assurance department
- Draft, review, and maintain SOPs, MMDs, and regulatory technical documents
- Perform environmental monitoring, including non-viable particle counting
- Operate upstream equipment for drug substance and vaccine manufacturing
- Prepare and maintain WCB, MVS, and WVS
- Perform in-process analysis during batch manufacturing operations
- Handle QMS activities such as deviations, change control, CAPA, risk assessment, and incident management
- Troubleshoot technical and manufacturing issues in coordination with the Production Head
- Execute production schedules efficiently while ensuring zero deviations
- Coordinate with engineering and cross-functional teams for uninterrupted operations
- Monitor equipment performance and facility maintenance activities
- Carry out upstream operations for Influenza and Rabies vaccine production
- Manage cell factory operations and related upstream processes
- Work independently in rotational shifts as per production requirements

Qualifications & Experience Required
Educational Qualification
- M.Sc / B.Pharm / M.Pharm
- Biotechnology / Microbiology / Life Sciences (preferred)
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in upstream vaccine or biologics manufacturing
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of cell culture and upstream processing
- Good understanding of GMP, QMS, and regulatory documentation
Additional Skills
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
- Strong coordination, troubleshooting, and documentation abilities
