Key Roles & Responsibilities
Analytical R&D (AR&D) Responsibilities
- Develop and refine analytical methods using instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV spectroscopy, FTIR, and Karl Fischer titration.
- Conduct method validation and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines including ICH, USP, and EP standards.
- Perform impurity profiling and stability analysis for pharmaceutical compounds.
- Execute method transfers and ensure reproducibility across laboratories.
- Investigate analytical discrepancies and troubleshoot instrument or method-related issues.
- Prepare technical documentation including validation reports, protocols, and regulatory submissions.
Process R&D (PR&D) Responsibilities
- Participate in process development activities including reaction optimization and scale-up studies.
- Monitor chemical reactions and perform in-process testing to ensure quality and consistency.
- Support technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing units.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and environmental health and safety teams.
- Identify and resolve process inefficiencies affecting yield, purity, or cost.
- Maintain detailed records of experiments and process parameters.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- M.Sc in Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry is mandatory.
Experience:
- Candidates with 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, API, or specialty chemical industries are eligible.
