About the Role
The HR Specialist will be responsible for supporting end-to-end HR operations across the employee lifecycle — from onboarding to exit — while ensuring compliance with company policies and regional employment laws. You will collaborate with HR teams across multiple geographies (including EMEA), providing accurate, confidential, and timely HR services while ensuring operational excellence in a shared service delivery model. Syneos Health is Hiring for HR Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR operational support throughout the Hire-to-Retire cycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, leaves, payroll setup, and exit processes.
- Manage employee and manager inquiries via Workday Help or ServiceNow, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Maintain and update employee records while ensuring data confidentiality and compliance with employment laws across multiple EMEA countries (Germany, Italy, France, Serbia, UK, etc.).
- Support HR audits, document control, and policy compliance initiatives.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and regional HR teams to execute key HR programs.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives, SOP updates, and HR knowledge base documentation.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support payroll, benefits, and employee engagement activities.

Qualifications and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of HR operations or shared services experience, preferably in a multinational environment (EMEA exposure preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Workday HCM, ServiceNow, or other HRIS/ticketing tools.
- Understanding of employment laws and HR practices across EMEA regions.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Visio).
- Familiarity with data reporting and basic HR analytics.
Behavioral Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and compliance.
