Job Overview
apicule is hiring Scientific Data Curators for a full-time remote position. This role is ideal for freshers and early-career professionals from Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences backgrounds who are detail-oriented and eager to work in pharmaceutical data curation. The selected candidates will be responsible for collecting, verifying, and maintaining critical information about APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) and suppliers, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across internal databases. Work from Home Job for Scientific Data Curator apicule
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and curate API product data such as CAS numbers, specifications, CoA, GMP, DMF status, and purity grades.
- Verify and clean data from suppliers and organize it using Excel, Google Sheets, and internal company tools.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Market Research teams to maintain supplier communication records.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of the API database.
- Support supplier onboarding by gathering missing information related to certifications or product documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience in data curation, pharma research, or data entry are eligible.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Basic understanding of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and pharma certifications such as CoA, GMP, and DMF will be an added advantage.
