Key Responsibilities

As the Assistant Manager – Quality Control, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality control activities related to raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. Your core duties will include: Assistant Manager / QC Hiring at Finecure Pharma

  • Supervise chemical and instrumental testing processes using advanced analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometers, Dissolution Testers, and IR spectrometers.
  • Review analytical data, chromatograms, and test results for accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee microbiological testing to ensure product safety and sterility where applicable.

3. Documentation & Compliance

  • Review and approve analytical reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), product specifications, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
  • Ensure all documents meet data integrity standards and regulatory documentation requirements.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and traceable laboratory records for audit readiness.

4. Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA), Production, and Research & Development (R&D) departments to ensure timely product release.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to address any QC-related concerns promptly.

5. Deviation & Investigation Management

  • Lead OOS (Out of Specification) and OOT (Out of Trend) investigations, ensuring accurate root cause analysis.
  • Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
  • Prepare and present investigation reports to management and regulatory bodies.

6. Instrument Qualification & Calibration

  • Oversee the qualification, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
  • Ensure all instruments meet regulatory validation requirements and perform within set parameters.

7. Stability Studies & Data Analysis

  • Monitor ongoing stability studies for various products and maintain stability trend data.
  • Compile and analyze stability data for inclusion in regulatory dossiers.

8. Regulatory & Customer Audits

  • Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits (e.g., USFDA, MHRA, WHO, EUGMP).
  • Ensure readiness of all QC documentation and prompt resolution of audit observations.

9. Team Training & Development

  • Conduct technical and compliance training sessions for QC analysts and team members.
  • Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous learning within the department.

10. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for improving testing efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
