Key Responsibilities
- Perform triage and initial validity assessment of safety cases, including spontaneous, clinical trial, health authority, and literature cases
- Enter accurate and complete data into pharmacovigilance safety databases
- Conduct initial assessment of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs), where applicable
- Evaluate the requirement for expedited reporting to health authorities or client partners, including adherence to reporting timelines
- Prepare standard safety reporting forms such as CIOMS I, MedWatch forms, and XML files
- Draft and send follow-up requests to obtain missing or additional safety information
- Submit ICSRs to relevant health authorities and client partners within regulatory timelines
- Complete case documentation and ensure proper case closure
- Conduct quality checks on ICSRs to maintain compliance with industry standards and project-specific requirements
- Perform ICSR search and retrieval activities using EVWEB and other safety databases
- Conduct company versus non-company case assessments as per defined processes
- Manage workload allocation and ensure timely completion of assigned cases
- Provide system and process training to team members as required
- Actively mentor and support new joiners by guiding them through company processes and workflows
- Promote a collaborative and learning-focused team environment
