Role Overview

The Executive โ€“ Regulatory Affairs position reports to the Associate Manager โ€“ Regulatory Affairs and is responsible for contributing regulatory expertise across multiple product categories, including cosmetics, OTC products, and commodities.

Job Description

In this role, the Executive โ€“ Regulatory Affairs will support regulatory compliance and execution for existing and upcoming projects within the Skin Health and Essential Health portfolios. The position requires strong knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks, the ability to interpret laws and policies, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The role also involves close interaction with external regulatory bodies, proactive monitoring of regulatory changes, and ensuring that all regulatory activities meet both internal standards and external requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-time regulatory support for existing and upcoming projects across Skin Health and Essential Health portfolios
  • Ensure right-first-time dossier submissions and timely product registrations in a compliant manner
  • Maintain regulatory compliance to support flawless execution and business continuity
  • Review and approve product artworks in the Artwork Management System for assigned portfolios
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes related to cosmetics, OTC products, and commodities across relevant markets
  • Interpret regulatory policies and apply insights to support local policy development and regulatory strategy
  • Proactively foresee regulatory or policy changes and support timely organizational responses
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to regulatory queries from authorities such as CDSCO, State Drug Control Offices, and ASCI
  • Support regulatory interactions and external engagements as required
  • Ensure no critical regulatory findings during internal audits and external inspections
  • Maintain compliance with both external regulatory requirements and internal quality systems
  • Review and approve product claims and promotional materials while ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Support audit preparedness and inspection readiness activities

Required Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

  • Masterโ€™s degree in Pharmacy or Science
  • Postgraduate Diploma or certification in Regulatory Affairs

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 6 to 7 years of experience in Indian regulatory affairs, specifically in:
    • Cosmetics
    • Commodities

Additional Experience (Preferred)

  • Experience in Drugs regulatory domain, including NPPA-related work
  • Exposure to Medical Devices regulations

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong regulatory and technical knowledge of cosmetics, drugs, medical devices, and commodities
  • Proficiency in interpretation of Indian regulatory laws and guidelines
  • Experience handling regulatory submissions, queries, and approvals
