Job Role & Responsibilities
The Trainee to Junior Officer – Formulation Development role supports formulation research, development, and scale-up activities under the guidance of senior formulation scientists. Base Medico hiring Fresher Formulation Development Trainee
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in formulation development of solid oral dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, and granules
- Work on immediate-release (IR), sustained-release (SR), and modified-release (MR) formulations
- Support laboratory-scale and pilot-scale trial batch preparation
- Assist in dispensing and weighing of APIs and excipients as per Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR)
- Perform basic granulation, blending, compression, and coating activities under supervision
- Maintain and update Formulation Development Reports (FDR)
- Prepare, review, and update Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs)
- Record experimental observations and data in laboratory logbooks as per GDP guidelines
- Assist in preparation, review, and revision of SOPs, protocols, and technical documents
