Job Description
The Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – QC (Microbiology) will be responsible for managing microbiological quality control activities and ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards in a SEZ-based manufacturing facility. Assistant Manager Deputy Manager QC Jobs
Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle and review OOS and OOT investigations related to microbiology
- Perform and oversee microbiological stability studies
- Conduct antibiotic assays and microbial limit testing
- Manage environmental monitoring, water testing, and sterility testing
- Perform BET (Bacterial Endotoxin Test) and sterility assurance activities
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines such as USFDA and WHO
- Lead microbiology team activities and train junior staff
- Prepare and review documentation for regulatory audits and inspections
- Investigate deviations and implement CAPA effectively

Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy, or M.Sc (Microbiology / Biotechnology preferred)
- Experience: 10 to 15 years in pharmaceutical QC Microbiology
- Strong exposure to OOS/OOT, stability studies, sterility testing, BET, EM, and water analysis
- Experience in USFDA or WHO approved facilities will be an added advantage
Salary & Benefits
- Salary Range: ₹12 to ₹18 Lakhs per annum (based on experience and interview performance)
