The Pharmacovigilance Executive will support end-to-end case processing activities in compliance with global PV regulations. 1. Case Processing Responsibilities
- Review, assess, and process adverse event (AE) cases from various sources including spontaneous reports, clinical trials, literature, and post-marketing surveillance.
- Enter case details into global pharmacovigilance databases such as Argus Safety, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform medical coding using MedDRA (preferred) and other controlled vocabularies.
- Execute case triaging, assessment, seriousness evaluation, and data verification consistent with regulatory expectations.
- Complete all steps within the case-handling workflow independently.
2. Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure 100% compliance with global and local procedural documents, SOPs, and guidelines.
- Support local implementation of Patient Safety policies, objectives, and processes.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for internal and external quality inspections.
- Follow compliance timelines for ICSR submissions, narrative preparation, and follow-up requests.
3. Safety Follow-Up Activities
- Identify missing information and initiate appropriate follow-up with reporters or stakeholders.
