Core Responsibilities
GLP and Laboratory Oversight
- Monitor QC laboratory operations to ensure strict adherence to GLP and cGMP principles.
- Enforce ALCOA+ principles (Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, Accurate + complete, consistent, enduring, and available) across all laboratory records and raw data.
- Conduct routine checks for data integrity, process traceability, proper labeling, and secure archival of records.
Analytical Testing and Instrument Management
- Operate and supervise routine analytical testing using instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, FT-IR, and dissolution testers.
- Support instrument qualification activities including IQ/OQ/PQ and maintain calibration and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure instrument logbooks are accurately maintained and discrepancies are immediately investigated.

- Review laboratory logbooks, raw data worksheets, instrument usage logs, calibration records, and analytical reports for completeness and compliance.

- Draft and review analytical reports, trend analyses, and routine QC metrics.
Audits, Inspections, and CAPA
- Participate in internal audits and support external regulatory inspections from bodies such as USFDA, WHO, and MHRA.
- Investigate deviations, OOS (Out of Specification) and OOT (Out of Trend) results, prepare investigation reports, and implement CAPA measures.
- Perform self-inspections to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in laboratory quality systems.
Training and Team Support
- Provide GLP training and mentoring to analysts and new joiners to ensure consistent application of laboratory practices.
- Promote a culture of quality, timely reporting, and responsible data stewardship among laboratory personnel.
Sample and Environmental Management
- Ensure appropriate sample handling, storage, disposal and reagent management procedures are followed.
- Oversee environmental monitoring activities and maintain records according to SOPs.

Educational Background
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology or a closely related discipline.

- 1–4 years of practical experience in Quality Control, preferably in an injectable pharmaceutical environment. Candidates with 3–7 years of relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Hands-on experience with core analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, UV, IR, Dissolution Tester) and familiarity with instrument qualification and calibration.
- Demonstrated knowledge of GLP, GMP, GDP, ALCOA+ principles, and regulatory expectations from USFDA, WHO, and MHRA.
