The Associate – Forecasting Platform Specialist plays a key role in the Global Commercial Services (GCS) Forecasting Centre of Excellence (CoE). 2. Business Intelligence (BI) and Reporting
- Create and update reports and dashboards using the platform’s built-in BI tools.
- Develop PowerPoint reports with automated data visualization for senior leadership.
3. Data Management and Taxonomy Maintenance
- Set up and manage OSS data pipelines for consistent data flow and accuracy.
- Manage taxonomy updates and coordinate with GIBEx/GA&I leads for necessary approvals.
- Maintain and update the synonym list in collaboration with the Platform Administrator.
4. User Training and Support
- Conduct user onboarding sessions and provide hands-on training for new forecasting team members.
- Offer technical support and solutions to address implementation challenges.
5. Quality Assurance and UAT
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during platform version upgrades to ensure system functionality.
- Identify and report bugs or inconsistencies during testing.
6. Process Enhancement and Feedback
- Provide feedback for platform enhancements and suggest optimizations for forecasting efficiency.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to streamline processes and implement new forecasting techniques.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as:
- B.Pharm
- B.E. / B.Tech
- B.Sc
- BBA
Preferred Qualification:
- Advanced degree such as MBA, Master’s, or PhD in Business Analytics, Engineering, or Life Sciences.
Experience Required
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in forecasting, data analytics, or BI tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data handling.
- Experience with forecasting methodologies such as:

- Patient-flow-based forecasting
