About the Role – Medical Science Liaison (MSL)
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role at Johnson & Johnson offers an exciting opportunity to become the scientific face of the company in the Oncology therapy area. Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary scientific representative of Johnson & Johnson for the Oncology therapy area.
- Identify, profile, and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across assigned geographies.
- Build and maintain strong scientific relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
- Support and implement medical affairs initiatives aligned with franchise and brand objectives.
- Represent the therapeutic area in internal and external cross-functional teams.
- Gather, analyze, and communicate field-based insights to inform medical strategy.
- Handle scientific information requests (SIRs) from HCPs and ensure accurate, evidence-based responses.
- Provide ongoing medical and scientific training to internal stakeholders, including the sales team.
- Participate in medical education programs, advisory boards, and investigator-initiated studies (IIS).
- Ensure all activities comply with local regulatory guidelines, industry codes, and ethical standards.
- Be willing to travel extensively (70–80%) for field interactions, meetings, and conferences.

Required Qualifications
- Medical graduate (MD / MBBS / BDS / MDS)
OR - Pharmaceutical / Life Science graduate (PharmD or PhD in relevant discipline)
Skills & Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of the medical affairs function and its role in drug development and communication.
- Familiarity with regulatory policies, clinical research, and industry codes of practice.
- Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare experts.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to scientific accuracy.
- Willingness to travel extensively and engage with healthcare stakeholders.
