The Clinical Trial Manager I will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Phase 1 clinical research studies, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory guidelines, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and project milestones. Clinical Trial Manager Job at Syneos Health
Key Responsibilities
- Study Management: Plan, develop, and oversee all aspects of Phase 1 clinical research studies, ensuring accurate execution and regulatory compliance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Implement and monitor adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and other regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with principal investigators, research subjects, clients, and internal operations teams to maintain seamless communication and collaboration throughout the study lifecycle.
- Project Coordination: Manage project timelines, logistics, and budgets, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor and report study progress to stakeholders, aligning deliverables with client objectives and internal quality standards.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed study reports, data summaries, and progress updates for sponsors and internal teams.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior staff and team members, promoting teamwork and professional development.
- Problem Solving: Identify challenges or delays during studies and implement effective, timely solutions to maintain quality and compliance.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all study-related activities to ensure transparency and audit readiness.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay informed on evolving global and regional regulatory requirements affecting clinical trials.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical trial management or related areas.
- Project Management: At least 2 years of experience in managing clinical projects, preferably with global pharma exposure.
- Preferred Location: Candidates based in Mumbai are highly preferred.
- Certifications: Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or equivalent certification preferred.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of clinical research processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).
- Thorough understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and clinical trial ethics.
